Because of the character, values and dedication to service instilled in her during her time at SJB, Hadiza felt inspired to give back and help others. She employs female seamstresses in Ghana to make her clothing which has led to job creation and the improvement of the economic and social status of her employees. In 2017, Hadiza founded in Ghana, the Fatima Initiative for Public Health Reform that provides sustainable solutions to grassroots health concerns in Ghana through its free mobile clinic and annual GreenLeaf Scholarship. She has participated in roundtable discussions at the United Nations General Assembly and was just accepted into Harvard Business School’s Sustainable Business Strategy program which she will begin in April 2019.
